SAT 7/16 (10:00AM) — In the interests of time, I’ll need to be as brief as possible. There were 7 regular season games and 8 teams, so we will play a quasi-double-elimination status playoff. The teams that finished 4-3 or better will get double-elim status and the teams that finished 3-4 or worse will be one-and-done. Here are the playoff seeds…
- Dream REC (7-0)
- Dragon (5-2)
- Cereal Killers (4-3) — won head-to-head vs Hype
- Hype (4-3) — lost head-to-head vs Cereal Killers
- Lao Ru AM (3-4) — won head-to-head vs Tiger’s Blood
- Tiger’s Blood (3-4) — lost head-to-head vs Lao Ru AM
- Team OB (1-6) — won head-to-head vs Redhawks
- Redhawks (1-6) — lost head-to-head vs Team OB
Pretty straightforward. Btw, the reason why I did not split this into two conferences in the beginning was because I knew we would have 8 teams, 7 games, every team play each other once. When it’s equally balanced like that, I’m not sure that I need to split the conferences, which often times saves me some tiebreaker hassles.
FRI 6/10 (1:00PM) — The following are the current standings from 2011 Spring-Summer, REC-AM Upper division (aka “REC+AM”). These are simply ordered by W-L percentage then alphabetically, and therefore are not necessarily shown in the proper playoff tiebreaker order. That will be corrected when we reach the playoffs and the seeds are posted.
We have 8 teams and will play 7 regular season games each. Teams that finish 4-3 or better will get double-elimination status for the playoffs. Teams that finish 3-4 or worse will be one-and-done for the playoffs. Check your division’s roadmap for the calendar and email us if you suspect any discrepancies in the schedule/standings.
