2011 Spring-Summer Sundays AL/NL Standings

THU 7/14 (3:30PM) — Sorry for the delay in updating this as we head into the playoffs. So we ended the regular season on 6/26 and Qwest departed for the AAA-OAK playoffs. We therefore ended with 5 teams and will play a double-elimination format. Here were the final seeds…

  1. 1. Rangers (5-1) — Won Western Conference
  2. 2. Ballaz 4 Lyfe (4-2) — Won Eastern Conference
  3. 3. Frisco’s Finest (4-2)
  4. 4. Showtime (3-3)
  5. 5. Bay Area Bandits (2-4)

We gave the #1 and #2 seeds to the winners of each conference simply because (1) it’s easier to do tiebreakers that way, and (2) I feel it gives more “geographical flavor” to our top division. Plus in a double-elimination format, there’s less reason to get too riled up about #1 and #2.

Note, after #5 plays #4, the loser will take a Sunday off (7/17) since there are no other teams in the Losers Bracket yet at that time.

SAT 6/11 (3:00PM) — The following are the current standings from 2011 Spring-Summer, AL/NL division. These are simply ordered by W-L percentage then alphabetically, and therefore are not necessarily shown in the proper playoff tiebreaker order. That will be corrected when we reach the playoffs and the seeds are posted.

Please be reminded that the regular season is 6 games. All teams will make the playoffs and it will all be double-elimination status. Please check the roadmap for the calendar schedule. Check your division’s roadmap for the calendar and email us if you suspect any discrepancies in the schedule/standings.
