2011 Spring-Summer Sundays 6FT-SF Standings

SAT 7/16 (8:45AM) — I’ll need to be brief in my discussion of the playoff seeds. We have six teams and due to the gym problems recently, we’re going to start all six off together. That means doubleheaders for the lower seeds that advance to play against #1 and #2. Here are the seeds…

  1. Falcons (5-1) — won head-to-head vs Ed O’Banners
  2. Ed O’Banners (5-1) — lost head-to-head vs Falcons
  3. Trainwreck (3-3) — won head-to-head vs Hangover
  4. Hangover (3-3) — lost head-to-head vs Trainwreck
  5. Dynasty (2-4)
  6. C.O.G. (0-6)

It’s too bad most of you voted to segregate SF and OAK. Despite the travel, I think we would have gotten a much more competitive top-to-bottom scenario with the two geographies. I say this mainly because with the Falcons and Ed O’Banners running away with the standings, just based on the numbers, it appears that COG could exit the season without having won a game and go 0-8. I know how bad that sucks and if we had combined with OAK, there may have been another struggling team from OAK for them to possibly beat and have a chance in a “lower” bracket.

SAT 6/11 (2:00PM) — The following are the current standings from 2011 Spring-Summer, 6FT-SF division. These are simply ordered by W-L percentage then alphabetically, and therefore are not necessarily shown in the proper playoff tiebreaker order. That will be corrected when we reach the playoffs and the seeds are posted.

Please be reminded that the regular season is 6 games. All teams will make the playoffs and it will all be double-elimination status. Please check the roadmap for the calendar schedule. Check your division’s roadmap for the calendar and email us if you suspect any discrepancies in the schedule/standings.
